Orienteering lessons will give you the skills you need to navigate the Newlands Valley near Keswick and the surrounding Lake District without getting lost or missing a checkpoint.  Starting with an introduction to basic map reading skills, your Instructor will soon have you orienteering your way around the centre’s grounds trying to locate the cunningly hidden markers.

Once you have achieved this you will be ready for one of our longer more challenging off site orienteering courses.  Go for the easy option and have your Instructor follow you around or have an orienteering challenge and see who can find the most points in the time available.
