I have been running school ski activity trips for 20 years and in all that time I have not come across a place where everything is this good. At Newlands the instructors are of real organisation- superb. Food excellent, rooms comfortable. All A !
We are a Junior School based in Manchester and we have visited Newlands Adventure Centre for over 20 consecutive years. During this time the instructors may have changes but the attention to detail, the superb way the children are both supported and challenged and the quality of the setting has not. To say that the Newlands Trip is the highlight of our school experience would be a massive understatement. We now have parents who originally visited as children, requesting to be trip helpers to relive the experience ! Thanks to Steve, Debbie, Rik, Iain and all the staff we have just completed another successful trip where undoubtedly the memories will last a lifetime. Here’s to the next 20 years.
Our extended family and friends have been attending Newlands every year since 2004 for fun filled weekends in wonderful surroundings. Great location, friendly, experienced and helpful staff.
We have been visiting Newlands annually for our undergraduate Geography field course since the early 1970’s. Newlands has provided a highly professional, reliable and friendly service to us and have been fantastic at accommodating our needs and last minute requests. The Centre a good quality accommodation, the surroundings are stunning and Newlands even prepares a mean packed lunch !
Thank you again. Norton Junior School children had the opportunity to grow in confidence in their physical ability but most importantly, socially and emotionally. The staff have had a wonderful time too. Thank you for all you have done.
Nikki and I would like to express our great thanks for an amazing weekend. The venue was superb and met all our needs. The staff were fantastic, very well organised, professional and good fun. All 46 girls had such a good time and judging from the responses, I’m sure many will be back. We couldn’t have done it without your swift replies and assistance in helping us organise this event. You’ve helped to make it memorable for all and most of all the hen: it surpassed her every expectation and something to remember forever. We can’t wait to come back !!
Brooke Primary School have been attending Newlands every year from over 20 years. We bring our pupils to Newlands in September at the start of the new school year. We have found this to be a great way to engage the children in personal and group development, ready for the year ahead. The reason we have continued with Newlands is because of their total professional approach in all aspects of their b business. Everything they do and provide is of the highest calibre, delivered in a flexible, friendly and amenable manner, from breakfast to suppertime (brilliant meals !). This approach is not only from the management, but from all members of the fully trained staff (many of whom we see year on year). They have a superb understanding of children and manage to get the best out of them, often to the surprise of the children themselves, who generally come away at the end of the week knowing much more about their own improved capabilities and those of their fellow pupils – and that is the main purpose of the trips so MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. We look forward to many more years of visits to Newlands Adventure Centre.
Sale Harriers have been visiting Newlands for the past 5 years, using it as a base for their bi annual training weekends. The centre is always presented well, the staff are always helpful and most importantly, the food is good and plentiful (which is what athletes require). When we first started organising the weekend we managed to bring 2 people, but due to the success of the weekend, we now accommodate over 60. I would like to think the significant increase is down to the excellent facilities at Newlands.
We have been bringing a group of young people with diabetes to Newlands each year since 1992. The staff are friendly and supportive and nothing to too much trouble. The young people enjoy the activities and the safety is second to none. I can highly recommend Newlands, especially for the food !
