The Tower Experience

After meeting your Instructor and getting fitted with a harness and helmet, you will climb to the top of the 14m Tower, pausing to take in a sweeping views of the Helvellyn, Skiddaw and Blencathera ranges; unique and stunning views of the heart of the Lake District. 

Your Instructor will then get you ready and go through the procedure with you then its take off time where you can either go down our 170 metre long Zip Line! Or how about you brave our “Aussie Style” forward Abseil! As well as that you can try our brand new Freefall Abseil! 

With prices starting from £15 for an experience this is something not to be missed out on!

Where is Rookery Woods? 

  • Rookery Woods is based at Keswick Climbing Wall next to Castlerigg Stone Circle!

Do I need to Book? 

  • No! Rookery Woods does not require a Booking! However if we are really busy there may be a short way until we can let you in the Woods! During that wait you could use our onsite Café, The Hungry Heifer! 

How Much does it Cost? 

  • Rookery Woods is £5 per Child for all day! That’s it! Adult’s do not need to pay to enter Rookery Woods however you did need to be supervising your children in the Woodland at all times.

What is the Age Limit? 

  • Rookery Woods is designed for Children aged 8 and under!
